March Repair Café
Lindfield Repair Cafe will once again be acting as a drop-off hub for local charity Computers For Kids who help ensure that disadvantaged children are able to access digital equipment. Please take along any computers you have finished with.
In the Kids’ Room there will be another chance to see how computers work by taking them apart.
Lindfield Repair Cafe is also proud to offer computer repairs: We don’t carry spares, so physical repairs aren’t usually practical but we can help with many technical issues that may be making you think about replacing your device prematurely:
Has your computer slowed down so much it has become nearly unusable?
Are you experiencing a problem using your email?
Are you getting a popup, perhaps telling you that your device is not protected?
Do you have a problem with Wi-Fi or a mobile connection?
Are you having a problem installing a new app?
Or perhaps you are having a problem setting up a new device?
We can help, or advise on these issues and more, so pop along to the next Repair Cafe and bring along your device. Don’t forget the power supply!
Next event will be on Saturday 4th March 10am to 1pm
Lindfield Repair Cafe is open on the first Saturday of every month at the
United Reformed Church, 52 High Street, Lindfield, from 10am to 1pm.
(On bank holiday weekends the date will move to the second Saturday of the month and also in May for the Coronation and June to avoid clashing with Lindfield Village Day).
ITEMS FOR REPAIR MUST BE CHECKED IN BY 12.30PM to allow time for repairs to be completed by 1.00PM
Please note that the Repair Cafe cannot guarantee that they will be able to repair all items brought in but they will always have a go if possible! Spare parts for repairs are not supplied so if you need a new zip, bulb or replacement part fitted it may be worth purchasing one before you come along!
